Helsinki – 5th October, 2021 - Qvantel, a leader in Digital BSS, has announced that it has opened a new office in Panama and is actively recruiting staff as part of its regional expansion. As well as providing local support for customers in the region, the Panama office will also provide engineering support to Qvantel’s regional headquarters in Colombia.
Qvantel’s expansion in Latin America is driven by the demand from communication service providers (CSPs) upgrading legacy BSS to digital BSS, as well as new greenfield opportunities from MVNOs and digital-first sub-brands. As CSPs look to move beyond connectivity for new revenue streams and operate with digital-first models, they are looking to become more agile and sell a wide range of digital services through digital channels. In addition, they are looking to deliver the best experience possible to an increasingly digitally savvy customer base, which is helping generate the demand for Qvantel’s Flex BSS.
